The latest edition of Bull Head: The Selected Writings of Brian J. Mueller 1991-2001 has recently been released for publication. Updated in this “refresh” are the Introduction and About the Author sections, as well as an entirely new cover design. First published in 2002, Brian thought it was important to make these updates.

A lot has happened since the first publication of Bull Head. I had come to understand the book a little differently and wanted to reflect that in the introduction. It was also important for me to update the about the author section and to design a new cover incorporating the art of Ann Marie Miklavcic. Her painting depicts an idea emerging from the human mind and taking on a new form. I believe this is a metaphor for all the writings contained within the book.”

As with the earlier edition, this Bull Head contains two main sections, one of prose and one of poetry. The writings are very lyrical and romantic, dealing with themes ranging from work, and love to nature, music, war, and many others. Bull Head stimulates the mind of the reader through clever rhyme, intense feeling, and astonishing creativity.
